  • TRADITIONAL CALCULATION OF THE BIRTH MEWA:


    • Use your left hand and put current year Mewa, let’s say this year, the Mewa is “2” in the middle and 3 at Northwest, 4 at West, 5 at North each, 6 at South, 7 North, 8 Southwest, 9 East and 1 Southeast.  The way of finding this method is called flying bird (bya phur gros)
    While finding your birth Mewa, always put, the current year Mewa in the centre.  Let’s say this year is 2.  Put it in the middle after that use the rapid calculation that of 1, 10, 19, 28, 37, 46, 55 and 64 etc., and go up to your age i.e. your birth Mewa.
    For example, if you are 25 years old now, look at the rapid calculation year and take any number which is nearest and smaller than your age.  So let’s take ”19”.  Put it in the middle column (current year Mewa),
    20 at 3,
    21-4
    22-5
    23-6
    24-7
    25-8
    So your birth Mewa is “8”
     

  • CALCULATION OF CHANGEABLE MEWA:

    • It is important to clearly understand one’s birth Mewa.  The male and female of Mewa is an animal sign, ot the person.  If the animal sign of the person concerned is Male, go always anti clockwise.  It it is a female go clockwise and stop at your age.
     
  • IF THE ANIMAL SIGN OF CONCERNED PERSON IS MALE:

    • Keep or always put your birth Mewa in the centre and exit from the East direction and going anti clockwise(Northeast, downward) and stopping at your age.  Use the same rapid calculation, 1, 10, 19, 28, 37, 46 and j55 etc.  Find the birth Mewa of a person who is 25 years old.  First put 1, 10, 199 at your birth Mewa, I mean 8, 20-6, 21-2, 22-4, 23-9,  24-1 and 25-5.  So your changeable Mewa is your “5”.
     
  • IF THE ANIMAL SIGN OF CONCERNED PERSON IS FEMALE:

    • Do the same as before but go clockwise (upward, Southeast and stop at your age that is your changeable Mewa.  Changeable Mewa is useful especially when someone has died.  One can make a statue by finding one’s changeable Mewa.
    For example- 24 years old and animal sign is Wood Hare and birth Mewa is “7”.  Find his or her changeable sign.
    Put 1, 10, 19, at your birth Mewa, 20-5, 21-6, 22-2,23-4, 24-9.  So your changeable Mewa is “9”.
